- I'm new to this incredibly absorbing hobby, and loving every minute. The Glencroft kit was a gift from my husband in 2008. I started working on it New Year's Day, and it's pretty much taken up every free moment ever since. Construction of the house itself is technically complete, but as any miniature enthusiast will tell you, these projects are never REALLY done. There's always room for a tweak or two... just like life. It's forever a work in progress.
